Teaching full time piano lessons for the past 20 years (and still am!) It has been such an exciting career for me and I am glad that I can gift people from all walks of life with the simple joy of playing the piano.
Is it true that you can learn to play at any age? Why, absolutely! My students, aged 4 – 70, can prove my point. Learn to play for graded examinations (i.e. ABRSM, TrinityGuildhall or any other recognized institutions) or for leisure.

Q: Where will my piano lessons be?
A: A cozy and conducive setup awaits you! My air-conditioned home studio in Geylang Bahru, located in the central region of Singapore, is equipped with a grand piano.
Q: What is the duration of 1 lesson?
A: Piano lessons vary from 45 – 60 minutes for beginner to diploma levels, depending on individual needs.
Q: What are your lesson rates?
A. To determine lessons rates, the below factors are considered:
1) Your current lesson grade
As a rule of thumb, I do go according to current market rates, whose rates are comparable to most recognized music centres.
Q: Do you think Melissa is the right teacher for you?
A: It does take time to nurture a liking and to understand a student well. Besides, there is the tricky little thing called ‘chemistry’ and we may click well and dandy for a head start.
